Strong in ME

 I Hear His Whisper...

Stand strong in ME.

Nothing can disturb my unshakable faithfulness, and nothing should disturb your faith. When everything crumbles, I remain faithful. When all else fails, the hope of my promise will keep you and guard you. Hold on to me and what I promise. Remind yourself of my goodness. Trust in my power that cannot be overcome. I have already provided for every need.

What I have done for David, I will do for you. He believed in my mercy. When he hid inside my wraparound presence, I became his shield. Nothing could harm him as he went out to battle, and nothing will harm you as you stand inside my grace.

I have taken notice of your faithfulness to me. When others did their best to pull you away, you still sought me as your great reward. I rejoice with singing when I consider what you have yielded to me. I have seen every offering, each sacrifice, and every tear of surrender.

Heaven is empty of worry. I have called you to live a life of heaven on earth. Continue to stand strong in my love, and I will provide all you need.

Psalm 18:32–33 [TPT] -- God, you have wrapped me in power and made my way perfect. Through you I ascend to the highest peaks to stand strong and secure in you.

HE sent HIS Word

Psalm 107:20-21
HE sent HIS Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for HIS goodness, and for HIS wonderful works to the children of men!

JESUS told him, “I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life."

JESUS is The Answer for the world today, above Him there is no other, JESUS is the way.
Whatever you need, JESUS is the way!

JESUS You were wounded for me, just to deliver me from infirmity.
You saved the world with Your shed blood, you took away our disease.
Acknowledge that He is the remedy. Claim your benefits.
We are healed, by His stripes we are healed!

The LORD is aware and He hears your prayer.
I AM still in control, I AM here.
No matter how you feel, know that whatever you need is in the Throne Room of GOD.
Yes, GOD has the remedy -- healing, breakthrough, joy, salvation, deliverance, peace, love, finances, restored relationships, +++
Know that I AM KING, and whatever you need it's in the room.

JESUS is The Answer.

Seek HIM First

Matthew 6:33

  • [KJV] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
  • [MSG] Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.
  • [NLT] Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

PRAYER
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I choose to seek You with all my heart. I choose to submit to You.  I surrender every area of my life over to You.

Great I AM, I fully surrender to Your Way of doing things, I choose to surrender to You and seek Your Wise Counsel. I seek Your Wisdom and Your Way.

Abba Father, open up my understanding and let me hear Your Voice clearly. I lean to You for instruction and glean from You insight. Let Your Word shape my character and lead my day.

Sovereign Lord, I surrender, I cast down every idol and submit to You. I bow down before You and cast down my crown before Your Throne. Lead me, guide me, for You are my Savior, the One my heart pants for.

In Christ Jesus' name, AMEN.

Honoring Our History 2-22

Greetings & blessings beloved ones💕
It is important how we see and identify ourselves.
Identifying with our heritage is vital to our well being.

We are members of God’s family.
We are carefully joined together in Christ, becoming a holy temple for the Lord.

As we close out "BLACK HISTORY MONTH" in the USA, I want to share the following excerpts for reflection.

No black people in Africa

"You know that there are no black people in Africa."  What we take as gospel in American culture is alien to them.

“Africans are not black,” she said. “They are Igbo and Yoruba, Ewe, Akan, Ndebele. They are not black. They are just themselves. They are humans on the land. That is how they see themselves, and that is who they are.”

Isabel Wilkerson, a Pulitzer-winning scholar on race expounds on how blackness was created as a race. The following statement by her perfectly encapsulates how such a convoluted bias came into place. “In the making of the New World, the Europeans became white, Africans black, and everyone else yellow, red, or brown. Humans were set apart and identified solely in contrast to one another and ranked in an arbitrary manner by the people in power. It was in the process of ranking that we were all cast into assigned roles to meet the needs of the larger production; none of us are ourselves.” It is safe to say that if we continue to hold on to this mis-characterization we would be subliminally furthering a system that has for centuries, sown seeds of discord in our shared habitat.

Not all black people are African-American

The racial classification of "Black" strikes at deeper questions over the treatment of people of African descent, who were stripped of their identities and enslaved in centuries past, and whose struggles to become fully accepted as part of the American experience continue to this day.

“Black is a color,” said the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, the longtime civil rights leader who popularized the term “African-American” in an effort to highlight the cultural heritage of those with ancestral ties to Africa. “We built the country through the African slave trade. African-American acknowledges that. Any term that emphasizes the color and not the heritage separates us from our heritage.”

In the USA, the adoption of the term African American as a "very deliberate move on the part of black communities to signify our American-ness, but also signify this African heritage."

There are complexities of "black" identities, especially in the United States.  These layers of racial identity can be extremely personal and nuanced. There are some Americans who identify as both, and some who prefer black over African American because they can't actually trace their lineage.

"Part of what was stolen, when we think about slavery, when we think about colonization, was that lineage," ... some are saying,  'I don't even feel comfortable claiming African, because I don't know the story of where my people have come from.'"

Yes, we are members of God’s family and it is important how we see and identify ourselves.

In honor of our history and more so for our present and future, make choices to advance the cause of Christ which is about love, justice, and care for humanity as a whole.

We are His light and hands in the earth realm to do His will. Honor Him and His-story well.

Worship that Pleases GOD

I can’t stand your religious meetings. I’m fed up with your conferences and conventions. I want nothing to do with your religion projects, your pretentious slogans and goals. I’m sick of your fund-raising schemes, your public relations and image making. I’ve had all I can take of your noisy ego-music. When was the last time you sang to Me?  Do you know what I want? I want justice—oceans of it. I want fairness—rivers of it. That’s what I want. That’s all I want.  [Amos 5:21-24

Doing justice is not only our duty, but it is bound up with our worship to GOD. Righteous living and doing justice is so important to GOD that without them, GOD finds great displeasure with the worship that we bring to Him.

Remember, justice and righteousness are to be the hallmark of GOD's people. While the gods of many other religions identify with the powerful, wealthy and ruling class, our Awesome GOD identifies Himself with the weak and lowly.

YAHWEH delivered His own people, Israel, from the oppression of slavery showing that He exercised care for the poor and vulnerable. He continues to deliver today and GOD wants His people to reflect His character of compassion, justice, and mercy.

Beloved, be careful that our sacrifices and songs arise from hearts and lives committed to acting in love, justice, and righteousness.  Why?  Because the kind of worship that pleases GOD is justice and right living rather than empty religion.

WORDworkers

"CHRIST Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers to equip GOD’s people for works of service …" [Ephesians 4:11-12].

- Shepherds of GOD’s flock are called to be WORDworkers. Each bring GOD’s WORD but with different voices, like a sacred choir singing gospel in four-part harmony.

- WORDwork requires us to target from the Bible, “anything that would be helpful,” as we are led by the HOLY SPIRIT.

"Let the message about CHRIST, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom He gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to GOD with thankful hearts." [Colossians 3:16].
