Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 (CEV) -- 1 Everything on earth has its own time and its own season. 2 There is a time for birth and death, planting and reaping, 3 for killing and healing, destroying and building, 4 for crying and laughing, weeping and dancing, 5 for throwing stones and gathering stones, embracing and parting. 6 There is a time for finding and losing, keeping and giving, 7 for tearing and sewing, listening and speaking. 8 There is also a time for love and hate, for war and peace.
Jeremiah 1:9–10 (CEV) -- 9 The Lord reached out His hand, then He touched my mouth and said, “I am giving you the words to say, 10 and I am sending you with authority to speak to the nations for Me. You will tell them of doom and destruction, and of rising and rebuilding again.”
Jeremiah 31:28 (CEV) -- 28 In the past, I took care to uproot them, to tear them down, and to destroy them. But when that day comes, I will take care to plant them and help them grow.
Psalm 65:4–7 (CEV) -- 4 You bless Your chosen ones, and You invite them to live near You in Your temple. We will enjoy Your house, the sacred temple. 5 Our GOD, You save us, and Your fearsome deeds answer our prayers for justice! You give hope to people everywhere on earth, even those across the sea. 6 You are strong, and Your mighty power put the mountains in place. 7 You silence the roaring waves and the noisy shouts of the nations.
Psalm 65:9–12 (CEV) -- 9 You take care of the earth and send rain to help the soil grow all kinds of crops. Your rivers never run dry, and you prepare the earth to produce much grain. 10 You water all of its fields and level the lumpy ground. You send showers of rain to soften the soil and help the plants sprout. 11 Wherever Your footsteps touch the earth, a rich harvest is gathered. 12 Desert pastures blossom, and mountains celebrate.
Matthew 6:10 (CEV) -- 10 Come and set up Your Kingdom, so that everyone on earth will obey You, as You are obeyed in Heaven.
Mark 1:14–15 (CEV) -- 14 After John was arrested, Jesus went to Galilee and told the good news that comes from GOD. 15 He said, “The time has come! God’s Kingdom will soon be here. Turn back to GOD and believe the good news!”
John 15:16–17 (CEV) -- 16 You did not choose me. I chose you and sent you out to produce fruit, the kind of fruit that will last. Then My Father will give you whatever you ask for in My Name. 17 So I command you to love each other.
Galatians 5:22–23 (CEV) -- 22 God’s Spirit makes us loving, happy, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, 23 gentle, and self-controlled. There is no law against behaving in any of these ways.
Colossians 1:9–12 (CEV) -- 9 We have not stopped praying for you since the first day we heard about you. In fact, we always pray that GOD will show you everything He wants you to do and that you may have all the wisdom and understanding that His Spirit gives. 10 Then you will live a life that honors the Lord, and you will always please Him by doing good deeds. You will come to know GOD even better. 11 His glorious power will make you patient and strong enough to endure anything, and you will be truly happy. 12 I pray that you will be grateful to GOD for letting you have part in what He has promised His people in the Kingdom of Light.
