What Do You See?

What Do You See?

The ‘almond tree’ is saqed and God is ‘watching’ (soqed) over His Word to fulfill it.

Reminder: Exhortation of your value, your worth, your purpose from GOD, the great I AM that I AM.

  • I AM formed you
  • I AM knew you
  • I AM sanctified you
  • I AM ordained you
  • I AM with you
  • I AM put His Words in your mouth
  • I AM is ready to perform His Word
  • I AM made you for this day
  • The enemy will fight against you, but shall not prevail against you
  • "For I AM with you", says the LORD, "to deliver you"
  • I AM blessed you with every spiritual blessing

Beloved, do not let any enemy steal your purpose, your favor, your calling, your gifting, your anointing, or any of your other blessings He has ordained for your life.  Be encouraged, stay encouraged in the LORD, for you are blessed and highly favored by Him.

  • May God himself, the heavenly Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, release grace over you and impart total well-being into your lives. [ref. Ephesians 1:2 TPT]

Read & Reflect
Jeremiah 1:4-19, 29:10-14; John 10:10; Ephesians 1:3-6; Hebrews 10:23-25, 35
  • What do you see? What is GOD saying to you in this season of your life?
  • Jeremiah thought he was too young and some may think they are too old -- however we each need to view our times and seasons from GOD's perspective.
  • Stop the focus on chronos (clock time) and let us flow in His kairos (God's timing).

Jeremiah 1:4–19 (AMP) -- 4 Then the word of the Lord came to me [Jeremiah], saying, 5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. 6 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am only a youth. 7 But the Lord said to me, Say not, I am only a youth; for you shall go to all to whom I shall send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Be not afraid of them [their faces], for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord. 9 Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. 10 See, I have this day appointed you to the oversight of the nations and of the kingdoms to root out and pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant. 11 Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a branch or shoot of an almond tree [the emblem of alertness and activity, blossoming in late winter]. 12 Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it. 13 And the word of the Lord came to me the second time, saying, What do you see? And I said, I see a boiling pot, and the face of it is [tipped away] from the north [its mouth about to pour forth on the south, on Judea]. 14 Then the Lord said to me, Out of the north the evil [which the prophets had foretold as the result of national sin] shall disclose itself and break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. 15 For, behold, I will call all the tribes of the kingdoms of the north, says the Lord; and they will come and set every one his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, against all its walls round about, and against all the cities of Judah [as God’s judicial act, a consequence of Judah’s wickedness]. 16 And I will utter My judgments against them for all the wickedness of those who have forsaken Me, burned incense to other gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands [idols]. 17 But you [Jeremiah], gird up your loins! Arise and tell them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed and break down at the sight of their faces, lest I confound you before them and permit you to be overcome. 18 For I, behold, I have made you this day a fortified city and an iron pillar and bronze walls against the whole land—against the [successive] kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land [giving you divine strength which no hostile power can overcome]. 19 And they shall fight against you, but they shall not [finally] prevail against you, for I am with you, says the Lord, to deliver you.

John 10:10 (AMP) -- 10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Jeremiah 29:10–14 (AMP) -- 10 For thus says the Lord, When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you and keep My good promise to you, causing you to return to this place. 11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. 12 Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. 13 Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from captivity and gather you from all the nations and all the places to which I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive.

Ephesians 1:3–6 (AMP) -- 3 May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm! 4 Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. 5 For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]— 6 [So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

Hebrews 10:23–25 (AMP) -- 23 So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word. 24 And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, 25 Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.

Hebrews 10:35 (AMP) -- 35 Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward.

ENOUGH

I am Enough, because I AM in me is more than Enough!

Sharing from the Saturday, April 22nd, Agape Word Women's Fellowship meeting led by Traci Herrod.

Some questions for your consideration and understanding of where you are:

  • What is enough?
  • Are you a lion in the jungle or are you a lion in a zoo?
  • Does a tree need permission to be a tree?
  • Why are you seeking permission to be who you authentically are?
  • What causes you to feel/think you are not enough?
  • Remember, you are enough, you are more than enough! Believe this!!!

Take a moment and think about the following passages:

Hebrews 11:1 (AMP) -- 1 NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Mark 4:39 (AMP) -- 39 And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness).

2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP) -- 9 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

Meditate on:

  1. Psalm 139:13–14 (AMP) -- 13 For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.
  2. Matthew 10:30–31 (AMP) -- 30 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear not, then; you are of more value than many sparrows.
  3. 1 Peter 2:9 (AMP) -- 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
  4. Romans 8:38–39 (AMP) -- 38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, 39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  5. 1 Corinthians 3:16 (AMP) -- 16 Do you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God’s temple (His sanctuary), and that God’s Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you [to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually]?
  6. 1 Timothy 1:7 (AMP) -- 7 They are ambitious to be doctors of the Law (teachers of the Mosaic ritual), but they have no understanding either of the words and terms they use or of the subjects about which they make [such] dogmatic assertions.

In the closing moments a participant shared ...

  • Jeremiah 1:5 (AMP) -- 5Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.
  • Proverbs 3:5–6 (AMP) -- 5Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

I AM reviving you

 - Psalm 139:5–6 TPT
You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. With your hand of love upon my life, you impart a blessing to me. This is just too wonderful, deep, and incomprehensible! Your understanding of me brings me wonder and strength.

- Hebrews 3:12-13 TPT
So search your hearts every day, my brothers and sisters, and make sure that none of you has evil or unbelief hiding within you. For it will lead you astray, and make you unresponsive to the living God. This is the time to encourage each other to never be stubborn or hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

Hear HIS Whisper... I AM reviving you.

Can you feel the breath of wind blowing upon the embers of your faith? I am reviving you so you can believe again. Release the frustration. Relinquish the right to try and understand spiritual matters with your mind. They must be embraced from a much deeper place. They are light and life and truth. They are not confined by earthly measures. Faith is outside the limits of time and space. Faith stands in contrast to natural laws, doctors’ prognoses, and demonic attacks.

I reward everyone who comes to me in faith, trusting in my promise completed and my presence sealed upon your life. I respond to every movement of faith. Rise now upon this new wind of faith, and you will not be disappointed. Take the steps that I call you to take. Believe, as you hold my promises. Faith is the victory you need, and my promises are the seeds of that victory. Overcome in faith, and you will see with your eyes the kingdom of heaven before you.

I AM faithful for eternity. I AM reviving you.

Thirst Time

Thinking about Thirst and Time for God:

Song: Lord I Thirst For You /https://youtu.be/dTOn39E8WpI

Are you thirsty?

Jesus said "I thirst" as part of fulfilling His destiny, His kairos had come, His earthly chronos was being finished on the cross.

Jesus started His journey with the end in mind -- He was focused on God's timing (kairos), not an earthly clock (chronos).

Are you fulfilling your destiny?

Jesus timed elements of His ministry carefully, though people often seemed to challenge His timing. Jesus’ words, “My hour has not yet come,” indicate that He was working on a divine schedule.

Think about your life, what is His divine schedule for you? Are you available, will you hear Him speak to you, will you know even know His voice as He speaks.

Lord, may I drink and be filled with Your Spirit, such that I know You and can discern when a strange one is attempting to confuse me.

Reflect on a few Passages ...
John 19:28 (ESV) -- After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.”

John 7:37–38 (ESV) -- On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.  Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ ”

John 4:23–24 (ESV) -- But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 4:13–14 (ESV) -- Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water

John 2:4 (ESV) -- And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.”

Psalm 42:1–2 (ESV) -- As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

Psalm 63:1–5 (ESV) -- O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips.

Psalm 107:8–9 (ESV) -- Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.

Mark 1:15 (ESV) -- ... “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”

Matthew 5:6 (ESV) -- “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
